Real Sicilian sea salt. It's what makes this seltz limone e sale and not just lemon seltzer: the lemon tastes like lemon instead of just sour, and every bottle gets natural electrolytes.

For more than a hundred years, the street kiosks of Catania, under Mount Etna, have poured seltz limone e sale: sparkling water, a lemon pressed into the glass, a pinch of sea salt. We couldn't buy it here, so we bottled that tradition, in glass.

Is there any sugar in it?
None. No sugar, no sweeteners and no artificial flavors. The label lists five ingredients: carbonated water, organic lemon juice, Sicilian sea salt, Italian lemon extract and citric acid.
Why is there salt in it?
In Sicily, nobody asks. The salt makes the lemon taste like lemon instead of just sour, and real Sicilian sea salt gives every bottle natural electrolytes: 150mg of sodium per 12 fl oz bottle.
