A Reciple Older than the Soda Aisle

Back in 1896, in the seaside city of Catania, Sicily, someone started mixing carbonated water with lemon and salt, and it caught on. Sold from kiosks along the water, sipped by locals and tourists who wanted to cool off. We didn't reinvent it. We just brought it home.
